For better work organization, you can bind items of different Apps. Creating such relationships makes it easier to view items and allows you to bind various child items to one parent item.
How to bind apps
Binding app items is especially handy for working with documents. As an example, let's consider the Documents workspace. It includes the following apps: Agreement, Supplemental Agreement, Sign-off.
Supplemental agreements and sign-offs always belong to a certain agreement so binding them is very convenient.
Step 2. Now add an app-type field to the form of the Supplemental Agreement app and select the Agreement app.
In the same manner, you can bind the Sign-Off app with the Agreement and Supplemental Agreement apps.
Working with bound apps
Add a new Agreement item. On the creation page, you can add a Supplemental Agreement. This supplemental agreement will be bound to the Agreement that you are creating.
To add a bound Supplemental Agreement, click the Create button. The creation page will open.
The Agreement field will read < Creating item >. Later, this field will contain a link to the Agreement, which will be shown on the item's page.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Please note that the bound Supplemental Agreement item will be created after you save the Agreement.
