The business calendar is used to establish a work schedule and specify working and non-working days. This information is used in business processes when calculating task deadlines or running a process on schedule.
For example, the payroll process should start on the 10th and 20th days of the month.
If these dates fall on a non-working day, then the process start will be postponed to the next working day.
